The challenge
Lumin Learn wanted to give every student a personalised tutor that adapts to their pace, identifies where they're stuck, and explains concepts multiple ways until one lands.
Our approach
We built an adaptive tutoring system that tracks mastery across a knowledge graph, generates Socratic questions rather than direct answers, and escalates to a human when it detects persistent confusion.
The outcome
The tutor reached 12,800 students in semester one. The cohort showed a 23% improvement in avg. test scores vs. a control group.
